Brian Burke

Brian is a seasoned manager and analyst with operations and financial leadership skills in financial system implementation, developing and defining financial management functions, managing resources, strategic planning, ERP systems / process planning and re-engineering, automation, and complex data and financial reconciliations.

His unparalleled Data Analysis and Microsoft Excel skills have been recognized in efforts ranging from developing analytics facilitating process enhancement to analyzing data trends for court testimony.  He is proficient in negotiating outcomes, communicating strategies and results with key stakeholders across many levels of organizational leadership, and building rapport with key individuals.

An adroit writer and researcher, Brian has served as a principal contributor to B Burke Consulting since 2007, assisting clients with business plans, pitch decks, market analyses, financial projections, proposals, resumes (junior level to Senior Executives, both Federal and private sectors), and other business materials.

He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland, a Master of Information Technology from the University of Maryland, and was the Valedictorian of his graduating class at North Carolina Central University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Michael Bassett

Michael is an accomplished foreign policy analyst and decorated veteran. He served in the US Army for ten years, spending several years as a reconnaissance and intelligence non-commissioned officer (NCO) on the demilitarized zone (DMZ) in Korea. He has a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in International Communications from American University, and a graduate certificate in North Korean Affairs from Yonsei University.

He has multiple recognized achievements both domestically and internationally, including activities in areas such as crisis management, public affairs, project management, irregular warfare support, issues based advocacy, diplomacy, and public policy analysis to name a few.

His efforts have directly supported the American military, intelligence community, economic projects, and diplomatic efforts on a global scale. Additional recognized activities include strategic coordination and development of complex and highly visible diplomacy projects and managing real-time information dissemination and coordination at the highest levels of government.
